Category Management Team

We have a category management structure, with Category Managers focused on specific purchasing categories:

  • We work with our Members to understand their needs and preferences and contract a panel of suppliers to meet those needs.
  • We ensure suppliers meet V. Group standards and offer competitive pricing by undertaking tenders and supplier negotiations.
  • We provide escalation support to our Members to solve operational or commercial issues.

Technical Spares and Technical Services

Cesare joined V.Group in 2012 spending 5 years as Fleet Technical Superintendent before joining Marcas, where he currently covers the role of Senior Category Manager, in charge of Technical Spares and Technical Services categories.

His academical background includes an MSc in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, from Genoa University and a Masters Degree in Marine Geomatics, from the Italian Navy Hydrographic Institute, which is focused on hydrography and geophysical surveying.

Life-Saving Appliances, Fire Fighting Systems & Technical Services

Having joined Marcas in 2018 as Category Manager Assistant, Amira was appointed Category Manager for Life-Saving Appliances and Fire Fighting Systems category in 2019.

Amira graduated in 2018 from the Ipag Business School with a Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing and International trade.

Olivier joined Marcas in 2018 and currently assumes the role of Category Manager for Technical Spare Parts.

Olivier has over 10 years of experience in Procurement, mainly in the maritime industry. He lived and worked in Panama for 5 years, before returning to France.

Brice Rodière

Shipchandlers, PPE, Ropes Suppliers, and Chemical & Gases Contracts

After his studies in the Supply Chain, Brice started a career in the automotive industry. In 2012 he joined SBM Offshore in Monaco as a Project Buyer and Global Lead Buyer for Operations.

Brice joined Marcas in 2018 and is in charge of Shipchandlers, PPE, Ropes suppliers and more recently the Chemical and Gases contracts.

Sasha Shichkina

Sasha Shichkina

Logistics

Sasha joined Marcas as Category Manager for Logistics in 2018, after 12 years of experience in marine logistics industry. Starting from coordinating day-to-day operations, Sasha rose to supervising Control Towers before becoming an Account Manager, responsible for all activities relating to the designated client accounts.

In addition to her responsibilities within Marcas, Sasha holds the position of Global Logistics Manager for V.Group, supporting operational teams and leading the Group strategy.
