Marcas has an international team of senior managers with many years of procurement experience in the shipping industry. All sharing the same determination for client satisfaction through commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
Having joined Marcas in 2018 as Global Strategic Director, Ray was named as Managing Director in November 2019.
Ray has over 20 years procurement and supply chain experience, holding senior roles in organisations specialising in Third Party Purchasing and Procurement Outsourcing.
Based in Monaco, Ray regularly travels to V.Ships, Members and Suppliers’ offices.
Strategic Supply Chain Director
George joined Marcas in November 2020, assuming the role of Strategic Supply Chain Director.
He has started his career getting his Diploma from the Greek Marine Academy and then working on board vessels as a Marine Officer.
For the last 20 years, and before joining Marcas, he was working and specialising in the procurement and supply sector as Purchasing Manager of Costamare Shipping Company S.A.
Global Account Manager
Myriam joined V.Group in 2003 and held a number of positions before moving into Marcas in 2015, initially as a Contract Manager. Myriam went on to become Head of Supplier Management before taking the role of Global Account Manager in 2019.
In this role, Myriam leads the on boarding of Members, and works with our Category Managers to ensure flawless delivery services to Marcas Members.
Isabella Hansson Yu
Business Development - Marine Services
With over 10 years’ experience in international business development across several industries, Isabella’ background includes appointments with organisations such as Beneteau Group, and MAN Diesel & Turbo.
Since Joining Marcas in 2019 as Business Development Manager, Isabella focuses on delivering the best solutions to all Marcas customers. Isabella is currently based in Cyprus but travels regularly to all Marcas offices.
Global Head of Fleet Procurement & Logistics
Joanne joined V.Ships in 1990, and currently holds the position of Global Head of Fleet Procurement & Logistics.
Having worked in the Ship Management Industry for 29 years, specialising in Marine Procurement from early in her career, Joanne understands delivering on Customer Service needs is key. Joanne is currently based in Glasgow.
Dry-Dock Commercial Director
Luca joined Marcas in January 2014, assuming the role of Dry-Dock Commercial Director.
Luca has over 20 years’ experience working in the shipping industry, covering several positions from Bunker Traders through Brokerage Houses, being in charge of the commercial and legal aspects in all his roles.
Luca holds a Master in International Law and obtained a Law Doctorate from the University of Genoa. Luca is a lawyer, registered in Imperia Bar, Genoa Court of Appeal District. Luca is based in Monaco.
Bérénice Jardel joined V.Group in June 2020 as the Finance Manager for Marcas.
Bérénice has over 12 years experience in finance. Before joining V.Group, she served the international auditing and consulting firm KPMG for five years, then working as cost controller for an international company selling systems and services to the offshore oil and gas industry.
Bérénice operates from our V.Group Monaco office.
